Nintendo DS - My favorites

The main games I play, Advance Wars Dual Strike and Nintendogz.

Advance Wars is definitely my favorite. That is the first DS game I got addicted to. I enjoyed working through the missions and playing in the war rooms. The missions were what really got me hooked. Review on Game Spot

Nintendogz is fun to play for short periods of time, but it can get boring. I did enjoy training my dogs for competitions though. The one part that I don't like is having to talk to the device at times to interact with your dog. Yes it is a cool feature, but at the same time feels kind of strange if you are playing it with people around you.

Battlefield 2

I have been caught up playing Battlefield 2 (BF2) online on my PC lately. All three versions... the original, Special Forces and Euro Forces. I used the EA Games download feature to get Euro Forces. No switching cds when you want to change from Special Forces to Euro Forces. IMO, the best maps on Special Forces are Warlord, Ghost Town and The Iron Gater. My favorite Euro map is Great Wall.

I typically don't play these kind of games online, but what got me hooked with BF2 was the need to play online to increase my rank (currently a Corporal) to unlock new guns in the game. I have since become a bit addicted. My biggest peeve playing online is when I join a squad and the squad leader doesn't lead. Any time I become a squad leader, I try to direct my team towards a common goal whether it be getting the flag or defending a base. Along with that annoyance is when the commander does not lead the squads. Playing in squads overall is fun and it can help you boost your points if you get with a good one.

If you choose to play this game online make sure you keep updated on the patches that EA puts out so that you can continue having a good selection of servers to choose from.

What games???

What are the best games out there right now for the someone who enjoys playing video games occassionally?
